What is an EB-5 Visa?

Simply put, the EB-5 immigrant investor visa program is the fastest way to get your green card and gain permanent residency in the United States. The program is predicated on foreigners making an investment in a U.S. business, specifically one that would create 10 or more jobs for Americans.

With the satisfaction of those and other applicable conditions and requirements, the EB-5 investor can obtain a green card and thus become a lawful permanent resident in the U.S. At the immigrant investor’s desire, he or she can then take the necessary steps to become a full-fledged citizen of the United States, with all applicable rights and benefits.

The EB-5 investment can also provide green cards for the investor's spouse and any unmarried children under the age of 21.
